FRETTE: Columbus Yachts Launch Second Atlantique 43

Named in honor of the renowned Frette brand, known for its exceptional Italian craftsmanship.

Columbus Yachts is excited to announce the launch of FRETTE, the second 43m (141ft) yacht in the new Atlantique line.

The Columbus Atlantique 43 stands out with an interior layout tailored to the owner's needs and the sophistication of its materials. This yacht combines fluid forms and a sleek aesthetic with maximum functionality. The 43m steel hull is paired with an aluminum superstructure, with a beam of just over 9m and a tonnage of around 460 GT.

Designed by the Hot Lab studio, both the exteriors and interiors of the Columbus Atlantique 43 FRETTE incorporate stylistic, design, and functional elements ideal for sea travel, embodying the concept of "Architecture for voyagers." The naval engineering was a collaboration between the shipyard and the Hydro Tec studio.

The exterior profile of FRETTE is reminiscent of a nutshell or a smoothly carved stone, free from sharp edges and sudden shifts in inclination. This design merges the characteristics of a motor yacht and a classic sailing boat, imparting a natural elegance. The yacht’s large outdoor areas blend with the spacious indoor spaces, maintaining total contact with the surrounding landscape.

The 'sailing-type' stern is one of the yacht's most distinctive features. It boasts a 5m long central swimming pool, positioned just 50cm above sea level, with two lateral folding side wings enhancing the direct contact with water. The lower deck includes five double cabins, three twin cabins, and two VIP cabins, which can be converted into a VVIP suite, all with private bathrooms.

The forward area of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew, featuring three double cabins with bathrooms, a crew mess, and a laundry area. The yacht also includes a 5.5m tender stored at the stern with a garage on the starboard side. The main deck forward houses a second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis.

Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, the Columbus Atlantique 43 can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.

Frette represents the Atlantique 43 for sale and will be showcased at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Shows.
