ISA Yachts release first images of hull of new flagship yacht

The 80m (262ft) ISA Continental 80 is being built on spec and is set to be ready for delivery in early 2024.

ISA Yachts has released images showing the steel hull of its ISA Continental 80 for the first time, as it reveals the build of the 80m (262ft) superyacht is progressing on schedule for delivery in early 2024.

The 2,300GT motor yacht is believed to be the largest on spec superyacht for sale in Italy and features exterior design work from Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design and naval architecture by Palumbo Superyachts.

The exteriors are distinguished by large squared windows leading to bright and airy interiors, notably a skylounge based gym and the main deck and upper deck salons.

A stern infinity pool with a glass bottom spans the beam of the deck and looks down into the beach club below. Large sunpads adjacent to the pool transform part of the main deck into an extension of the beach club, whilst the upper deck is the preserve of the Owner with a lounge and living areas astern and the master suite forward. There is also a touch-and-go helipad at the bow with direct access to the owner’s quarters.

Interior design comes from Luca Dini Design and Architecture, with seven cabins accommodating up to 12 guests. Interior fitting is expected to start in January 2022.

Twin MTU 16V4000M63L engines give a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a range of 6,200nm.

ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, first announced its new Continental line in September 2019. The line is made up of two models, the Continental 80 and the Continental 65. As well as being the largest on-spec superyacht being built in Italy, the Continental 80 will also become ISA’s flagship yacht on her delivery.

The yard also has a pedigree for building sporty yachts, announcing its new Ayrton line, which takes its name from the Brazilian F1 legend, in May. The following month it revealed details of its first ISA Super Sportivo 100 GTO, a 30m (98ft) superyacht that reached a top speed of 55 knots on sea trials.
