Leading luxury yacht builder presents six brand new vessels.
Princess have revealed an astonishing six new vessels to their fleet. After a promising start to 2018 with revenues being 50 % higher than the previous H1 in 2017, the new vessels are anticipated to continue the thriving business for the brand and make 2018 a highly profitable year for the British shipyard.
Following a jaw dropping £30 million worth of sales in one week, Princess have recruited 700 extra staff for their shipyard in Plymouth, with another 100 expected by the end of 2018. With 2,900 staff members already on the books, Princess are making the most out of their incredible two year profit boom to extend their fleet and further solidify their position as one of the leading luxury yacht brands.
The six new vessels being released by Princess Yachts are R35, F45, V55, V78, Y85 and X95. The X and Y models introduce brand new classes to the Princess range, but one of the most highly sought after new releases is the R35 which comes complete with the Princess Active Foil System (AFS).
With bookings filling up the 2018 calendar, in addition to bookings already made in 2019 and 2020, Princess are looking at a busy schedule with a focus on constructing almost 300 vessels a year.
Collaborations with Pinifarina, Olesinski and Ben Ainslie Racing Technologies continues to produce exciting and innovative yachts, which has not only paved the way to a 30% increase in production but revenues continue increasing, ensuring financial success for the British shipyard.
