Sanlorenzo delivers its first 62Steel superyacht CLOUD 9

The 61.5m (201.7ft) superyacht Cloud 9 features a 215 square-meter (2314 sq. ft) Owner's suite and large beach club.

Sanlorenzo has announced its first 62Steel, superyacht Cloud 9, has been delivered to its Owner.

Sporting taut lines, a continuous banded windows across her three decks, and some impressive overall volume, work on the 61.5m (201.7ft) superyacht began in 2018, with her launch taking place last June.

Built on the same platform as the multi-award winning 64Steel superyacht ATTILA, the new Owner will be able to enjoy a vast 215 square-meter (2314 sq.ft) suite on the upper deck. Connected to the 140 square-meter (1507 sq. ft) outdoor area in the bow, there is access to a swimming pool, study, living area, skylounge and open-air dining room.

Other highlights include a large beach club with a bar area, gym and hammam and folding terraces, a second pool at stern with a transparent bottom and main salon and dining area that seats up to 16 diners. Accommodation is offered for 12 guests across six cabins.

The superyacht is a collaboration between Sanlorenzo’s technical and style departments, who developed her elegant and slender exteriors, and Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini who penned the interiors characterized by natural materials and neutral tones to create a relaxing atmosphere.

Cloud 9 is the first of three 62Steel superyachts to be delivered. A second hull will be handed to her owner in the autumn and a third is scheduled for delivery in early 2023.

The 62Steel is part of Sanlorenzo’s flagship Steel line, a series of yachts with displacement hulls, long-distance cruising and vast Owner’s quarters. It has helped make the Italian yard one of the busiest builders in the world having delivered around 120 yachts since 2018 with another 50 set to be delivered over the next three years.
