Brand new Dutch shipyard Sichterman Yachts has officially begun its journey in the yachting industry with the launch of its first vessel. The 18 metre Inveni model made history for the Netherlands brand as it touched the waters of the Workum facility over the weekend.

Boasting iconic designwork from industry favourite Cor D Rover, the debut launch from Sichterman Yachts also boasts a Hull Vane and Fast Displacement Hull Form designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

Described as having a five star experience by executives, the new brand is already beginning to make a mark on the industry with four sales already on the books.

Our client mister van Hilst challenged us to push technological limits to a new level and deliver a 5-star luxury experience. Being a former sailor, he wanted the yacht to be as quiet as possible, whilst maintaining a high level of comfort and fuel efficiency at the same time. And that we’ve succeeded.

With a low fuel consumption and a 17.6 metre beam, the Inveni is a cosy and luxurious vessel which is capable of accommodating up to four guests at any one time.

A comfortable main saloon provides space for daytime socialising and an easy access swim platform means guests can enjoy brand new destinations in next to no time at all.

Powered by two Cummins 550 HP engines, Inveni can reach a top speed of 23 knots with a comfortable cruising speed of 18 knots.
