The first of the Silent Yachts SY62 3-Deck Open catamarans premiered at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. Silent Yachts CEO Fabrizio Iarrera noted the "overwhelmingly positive response" and solid orders following the launch. The much-anticipated Silent Yachts SY80 flagship will also make her debut soon.
Commenting on the production activity in 2024, Iarrera explained, "with so much activity at the shipyard this year, it is quite easy to overlook the fact that we have completely reorganized the business from the ground up."
Under new management since March 2024, Silent Yachts transitioned to a modular construction system in Fano, Italy. This change has enabled the yard to achieve a production rate of one yacht per month.
Busy Calendar of Events
Silent Yachts has been increasing its presence at boat shows globally. In 2025, the shipyard will attend the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show from 19-23 March, showcasing the SY62 3-Deck Open.

In 2024, Silent Yachts introduced a dedicated charter network. Customers can now enjoy the brand’s comfort and silence on extended cruises in the Caribbean and western Mediterranean. The network expects to grow, bringing more yachts into the fold.
Silent Yachts wrapped up the year with a 10-day sea trial in the Bahamas. Their motor yachts boast a low draft, enhancing comfort while ensuring the pristine waters remain untouched by the silent electric drives.
Looking to the Future
The company recently collaborated with superyacht designers Nuvolari Lenard. This partnership is expected to produce a new 70-footer by 2026. "We are confident that the SY80 is going to be an absolute showstopper when it goes on show this summer," said Iarrera, hinting at more developments behind the scenes.
