Southampton countdown - highlights of the upcoming 2022 Southampton International Boat Show

Just one week to go until the biggest British yacht show returns to Mayflower Park for a 10-day event filled with motor yachts, sailing boats and a host of thrilling side attractions.

Gearing up for the 53rd edition, organizers of the Southampton International Boat Show have stated "the show will offer plenty of expert advice and exciting opportunities to get afloat".

Welcoming a selection of global and UK debuts there are certainly many reasons why a visit to the 2022 Southampton Boat Show is worthwhile.

Some of the highlights among the debuts include the UK debuts of the Sunseeker 65 Sport Yacht, the Bavaria SR41 and the Sanlorenzo SX88.

Housing sector-specific zones throughout the show, there's a seamless flow that was enhanced in 2021 and welcomed nothing but positive feedback. So the layout will be making its return to this year's event.

Wide walkways and ample hygiene stations create a comfortable environment with everyone welcome, even well-behaved dogs.

Areas of the show include Watersports, Dinghy, Classic & Day Boats.

Also returning from its inaugural edition in 2021, the On The Water attraction gives visitors the chance to quite literally get out on the water of Mayflower Park.

A preselected group of vessels will be on hand to facilitate the Try A Boat function within the zone, taking groups for a spin around the iconic marina.

And new for 2022, the Try A Boat + experience gives you the chance to stay out on the water for longer on one of the most historic vessels at the show.
