Collaborative designwork between Sessa Marine and Centrostiledesign continues with three restylings which are set to be pride of place at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

As a yachting brand set to celebrate their diamond anniversary this year, Sessa Marine have worked with Centrostiledesign for many years and have seen several restyling projects on their lines, which includes Explorer, Fly and Cruiser Line.

Joining the two vessels already completed, C44 and C38, the Cruiser Line range now extends with the new C68 and C54. Much of the restyling has focused on the interiors which includes larger windows to allow in more natural light to the main deck.

Fabrics and furnishings have been reset to the theme of contrasting tones of both light and dark coloured materials, in addition to a similar contrasting theme in the use of both polished and matt surfaces.

Interior work has also extended down to the lower deck where nubuck leather, wood and lacquered surfaces are used to create an intimate and relaxing area for nightcaps and peaceful nights sleep.

In addition to the extensive work carried out on the interiors, the design team have also created an impressive selection of customisable options for owners which includes 18 types of materials. The cockpit area also has customisable opportunities which can either be in the standard accompaniment of a table, sun lounger and garage, or be altered to create a twin living area with a dining table.

The third restyling project to be presented at Cannes is KL24 from the Key Largo line. The recognisable agressive features of the exteriors have been maintained to keep the yacht's identity, but several modern touches have been added. This includes glazed sidewalls and a brand new windshield. A contemporary style has also been created in the interiors, which is shared with all the boats in the shipyard.

Davide Cipriani from Centrostiledesign comments; "We have continued to cooperate to highlight the appeal of a company whose history, based on dynamism, innovation, design and technology, all working in perfect harmony, is a fine story of ‘Made in Italy’ business success.”
