Zeelander relaunch Z72 under new name after year long rebranding exercise

Zeelander has relaunched the Z72, which is now known as the Zeelander 7, following a year-long project to rebrand and streamline the offering available from the Dutch shipyard.

Originally named the Z72 in reference to the yacht's size, Zeelander 7 is the current flagship of the yard and features collaborative design input from Cor D. Rover.

Also rebranding other yachts in the fleet, namely the Zeelander 5 and 6, Zeelander has ensured that although the main body of the design is essentially the same across the board, the Zeelander 7 still has its own personality.

Powered by three Volvo Penta IPS drives, the yacht features a tall, flared bow, a deeply raked transom, and a low-profile deckhouse dominated by a strip of three-dimensional sculpted glass, the model sports a timeless aesthetic that is instantly recognizable.

By relaunching the Zeelander 7, we are making a bold statement:Zeelander builds just one design in three different sizes.

Offering a spacious and flexible main deck that can be opened up to create a single indoor-outdoor area, the Zeelander 7 provides plenty of space to entertain guests onboard, with the main deck saloon boasting a capable galley, flexible lounging and dining space for up to eight people, and an owner's choice of appliances.

Exteriors provide further entertaining space with a sun pad that converts to a sofa, and a wet bar, complete with a retractable aft window to optimize the deck space.

When guests retire from a day on deck and launching water toys from the swim platform, overnight accommodation continues the same timeless appeal found throughout the main living areas, a composition of three cabins can be found on the lower deck.

The master is generous for a yacht this size, boasting a king-sized island bed, abundant storage, and a large ensuite bathroom. Two guest cabins are also found below deck.

Continuing to expand the range of yachts due to customer demand, Zeelander has also announced that a larger yacht is on the drawing boards with more details being made available soon.

If you're on the market to find a yacht that has the capability to explore archipelagos, the Zeelander 7 offers a cruising range exceeding 600 miles at 26-knots. To find out more about owning the Zeelander 7, or another model from the fleet, take a look at all Zeelander yachts for sale.
