On Deck
The yacht's hi-lo platform allows for plenty of space for a tender and a jet ski. The platform can be configured in various ways, with bi-fold doors that open out to provide a wide range of configurations. The depth of the lockers and the clever system for storing seabobs are both appreciated features.
Nick notes the high bulwarks of the yacht, which he says are indicative of a proper superyacht. The bow of the yacht contains a seating area that features sofas and a stainless steel anchor. There are also canister life rafts located on the top deck for immediate use if needed.
Interior
Inside the yacht, Nick admires the Minotti furniture and the vast amount of space provided by the yacht's beam. The layout of the lounge and dining area is customizable. He also notes the sliding door that can be opened for a more spacious feel. The galley area can be configured to be either open or closed, based on the owner's preference, and contains a side access door and Miele cooking equipment.
Going further into the yacht, there is an impressive master cabin. A secret area in the dressing room, which could be used for storing a watch collection, is particularly of note. The yacht also contains three more cabins: a self-contained VIP guest area and two more cabins that could be used for children or friends.
Crew Accommodation
In the crew area, there is a mess area, laundry facilities, and a microwave. There are also two matching crew cabins with twin beds, reading lights, and storage.
Performance
The yacht is equipped with two MAN V12 1800 horsepower engines that can push the yacht to a maximum speed of 28 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht has a range of about 1800 miles. Also noted is the automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine area.
In Summary
Overall, Nick is impressed with the Sunseeker 90 Ocean's vast space, customizable features, and performance. He appreciates the detailing, the designer furniture, and the yacht's lighting. The yacht's width and beam are particular highlights for him, providing a spacious and luxurious experience onboard.
