Designer Sander Sinot was commended for ‘his achievement of modern elegance through pure design’ in this hotly contested category. Musashi was awarded the highest marks by three-quarters of the jury and she was particularly admired for her large windows, engineered by Feadship and De Voogt Design Studio, which create a feeling of unity with the elements.
