Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.2m beam and a 3.8m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,126 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Apogee is a Codecasa yacht built with a white hull and white superstructure. Apogee is a Codecasa yacht built with a white hull and white superstructure. Adjacent, a cozy circular seating area with a central table provides a sheltered spot for guests, nestled within the coaming. Walkways on either side lead to the upper deck aft.
The yacht's design features a gracefully raked bow; the topsides feature three horizontal portholes followed by three vertical, just forward of where the main deck top sides angle down to reveal the side deck. Along the hull, evenly spaced smaller portholes illuminate the lower deck interior.
The staircases that provide access throughout the deck levels are integrated into the side decks at amidships. Access to the bathing platform is via a starboard side stairway and a large transom door rises to provide access to watersports equipment.
The sun deck of Apogee boasts a spacious 12-guest jacuzzi forward, accompanied by a forward-facing seating area and generous quadrant-shaped sun pad areas on both sides. Moving aft, the open space offers free-standing sun loungers, fixed sun pads extending from a banquette, and corner bars with bar stools for guests to enjoy elevated views while indulging in cocktails. The well-equipped gym has been designed for this deck level. Access to this deck is facilitated by a staircase located on the starboard quarter.
The main deck aft of Apogee offers diverse options for al fresco dining. On the port side, a fixed counter bar provides ample diner-style seating, while opposite on the starboard side, a large semi-circle of seating creates a convivial atmosphere. Additional banquette seating and a table are situated aft on this deck level. A circular staircase on the starboard side allows easy access to the deck above.
Interior Design
Refreshed during a 2016 refit, the interior styling of Apogee blends traditional heritage with opulent luxury. Rich mahogany and soft taupe materials evoke the elegance of the 1920s.
One of the highlights of the interior is the 22-foot-long backlit onyx-topped bar, reminiscent of iconic social venues like Monaco's Café de Paris and Miami's Delano Hotel. This central feature serves as a focal point for social gatherings, accompanied by a dance floor equipped with a Wurlitzer jukebox and karaoke machine. Soft illumination inset within wooden ceiling panels adds to the ambiance, illuminating the game table and intricately detailed wooden chairs featuring brass embellishments.
In the formal dining room, Rococo design style chairs are set around a large oval table under a ceiling light feature with mirrors and a chandelier.
Each of Apogee's five decks boasts its own unique character, connected by a main foyer elevator and sweeping spiral staircase featuring wrought iron balustrades, rich wood handrails, and bronze embellishments.
Accommodation
Apogee offers accommodation for up to 18 guests throughout seven staterooms, including an owner's cabin, four double cabins, one of which includes two additional Pullman beds, and two twin cabins that also include Pullmans.
Accommodation for the crew is also well-considered, with up to 17 crew members throughout nine separate cabins.
