Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.7m beam and a 2.15m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 396 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the sixth yacht built on the DOM133 design. Launched in April 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

The sixth hull of Baglietto's DOM133 series, Jules features a near-plumb bow, and a clean black-and-white color scheme accentuates the yacht's angular and modern lines. The taller superstructure affords a generous internal volume of 411 gross tonnes, an impressive figure for a vessel of its size.

Drawing inspiration from both automotive design and architecture, Vafiadis brought a sculptural quality to the yacht design. The resemblance to modern car radiators is evident in the parametric pattern of two air exchange grilles on the upper deck. Similarly, the aft edge of the upper and fly decks takes its cue from the spoiler of a sports car, adding a dynamic element to the yacht's silhouette.

The beach club extends over two levels, blending a pool area on the main deck with a dedicated bathing platform below. The pool boasts a lifting bottom, allowing it to transform into a dance floor or an extension of the main deck, effectively serving dual purposes.

Continuing the automotive influences, aggressive lines and voluminous shapes reminiscent of the latest SUVs are incorporated, representing the new frontier for designers according to Vafiadis. This approach results in a yacht that is visually striking and deeply rooted in contemporary design trends.

Hidden engineering initiatives, such as a disguised gangway that masquerades as an ordinary staircase, reveal a dedication to both form and function. This gangway can be hydraulically maneuvered to the quayside.

With its tiered main deck aft and an infinity swimming pool featuring a high-low floor, Jules taps into the growing trend for open-air beach clubs, offering guests a unique space to enjoy the outdoors.

The sundeck, spanning an expansive 75 sq/m, features sunbeds, a spa pool, geometrically shaped sun pads, and a family table with a bar. Additionally, the foredeck cockpit presents yet another retreat with an array of sofas, su npads, and low tables.

Interior Design

The interior design of the yacht Jules, crafted by the designer Leonardo Santi, focuses on a blend of contemporary aesthetics and functional design. The cabins feature a color palette that includes Ferrari red, green, and blue tones, with accents of Lamborghini orange. This combination provides a vibrant yet harmonious atmosphere throughout the yacht.

The materials used in the interior are a mix of bronze finishes and pale wood, which are prevalent throughout the vessel. The bronze-toned carbon fiber ceiling in the wheelhouse complements the bronze finishes seen in other areas, adding continuity to the design. LEDs are thoughtfully inset into the woodwork, offering subtle illumination that highlights the design features, particularly along the central stairway. This stairway is topped with a custom chandelier, serving as a focal point in the interior layout.

The helm offers a modern and clean design, incorporating advanced navigation and control systems for optimal performance. The space embodies the intersection of form and function, with automotive-inspired elements such as the grill insets that echo sports-car design features.
