Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.4m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 2,054 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2006 with the keel laid under the project name 'Excellence IV'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the yacht Eminence features a classical appearance with a beige hull and white superstructure. A distinctive element is the unusual mast shaped like a whale's tail fin. This mast is organically designed, reflecting the extensive planning and craftsmanship involved.

The sun deck is a sure attraction for guests, offering the widest views and abundant sunshine. To protect against excessive exposure, awnings can be deployed to shade the three distinct areas surrounding the central mast. The sun deck features three curved sofas forming a conversation circle next to a marble-topped bar, and a sizable pool flanked by sunbeds, nestled against the forward bulwark. A large Jacuzzi is available, paired with an eye-catching smoked glass shower that offers unimpeded views. The shower’s design aligns with the adjacent lift, maintaining a consistent aesthetic.

Eminence's decks are kept clear of tenders and water sports equipment, thanks to her stern garage and foredeck lockers. The garage houses two tenders, a 9.3-meter open and a 9.8-meter covered limousine, which are launched by hydraulically powered cradles that slide the craft into the water.

Interior Design

Eminence's interior design, crafted by Andrew Langton, offers a blend of diverse materials and styles. The design avoids the typical mahogany-dominated yacht look, opting instead for a mix of ebony, macassar, and walnut, paired with steel and leather walls. Dark veneers are offset by light fabrics, while honey-colored marble is a standout material, particularly favored by the owner.

The main salon features a casual yet sophisticated ambiance with its modern art deco influences. High-gloss finishes and satinized metal accents are used selectively to enhance the visual appeal.

Eminence is equipped with a range of amenities designed for comfort and entertainment. It includes a dedicated movie theater for onboard cinematic experiences. The gym is outfitted with modern equipment, ensuring guests can maintain their fitness routines. Adjacent to the gym, the sauna and massage room offer spaces for relaxation and wellness.

Accommodation

Eminence offers luxurious accommodation for up to 16 guests across eight elegantly designed staterooms. The yacht features six spacious VIP cabins, each designed with distinctive ceiling and floor accents that create an "oval feel," enhancing the sense of space and comfort.

The owner's suite is particularly noteworthy, featuring a front-view bedroom with a large glass front that provides an unobstructed view of the foredeck. This suite includes a marble-finished ensuite bathroom, complete with a Jacuzzi and an expansive glass-walled shower, offering a luxurious retreat.

Alongside the owner's suite are two VIP guest cabins located on the forward part of the main deck. These generously sized cabins feature three large oval portlights, with vast bathrooms offering a bath, large shower, and walk-in wardrobe. An additional four guest cabins – three doubles and a twin – are situated on the lower deck. All cabins are fitted with a dressing room, desk, and a particularly large shower, ensuring guests can enjoy a luxurious stay.

A unique feature of the Eminence is the fully equipped office located beside the VIP cabins. This provides a much-needed facility for guests who may need to work during their stay. It also doubles as a convenient cabin for a private secretary, with an adjoining shower room and a settee that can be converted into a double bed.

She is also capable of carrying up to 24 crew, with ten large ensuite cabins located in the forward part of the lower deck. The captain's cabin is situated aft of the bridge. A crew gymnasium is located in the forepeak, providing an excellent facility for maintaining physical fitness.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516 DITA) 16-cylinder 2,029hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Eminence is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots.
