Delivered in 2010, Gladiator is a 44.65m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while Sinot Design Associates is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the fourth yacht built on the F45 Vantage design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Gladiator boasts classic Feadship lines, featuring a sleek white profile with a bold black bootstrap. The raked bow, high top sides, and chamfered edges converge at the main deck level, concealing an operational foredeck for clear forward views. The hull features portholes and a prominent strake starting amidships. Slim vertical glazing sections are placed within the main deck forward, leading aft to the stylish nameplate and open side decks for uninterrupted views from the main salon. The upper deck showcases a side grill-style feature amidships, adjoining the sun deck.

The sun deck transforms into an open-air cinema at night when a large screen is lowered aft of the jacuzzi section and seating is arranged under the canopy for delightful evenings on the deck.

The bathing platform is revealed when the large transom door is lowered to provide convenient water access and serves as the entrance to the beach club facilities. When the chase boat is moored, its extended side wings match the platform's width, expanding the sun lounging and guest space. A single staircase on the port side leads to the main deck aft.

The sun deck features a circular jacuzzi pool with elevated forward views and a semi-circle of sun pads. Access to this forward space is via a port-side stairway. Guest space aft of the canopy provided by the vertical radar mast provides seating and dining options and has access from a starboard aft staircase. tender stowage is provided in this area.

Interior Design

Onboard styling exudes a clean and modern aesthetic, utilizing light wood and contrasting dark wood trim to enhance visual appeal within the wall panels. Large sections of glazing are slightly angled in at the ceiling, creating a distinctive feature. Carpets, lightly textured in neutral grey, complement cream sofas adorned with grey cushions, reflecting a cohesive approach to interior styling inspired by Japandi design.

The main suite welcomes ample natural light from the skylight above, maintaining the Japandi aesthetic seen throughout the main guest spaces. Philippe Bouix-designed Exploration chairs grace the brushed metal desk, positioned opposite the king-size bed resting on a wooden horizontally fluted base, with a mirror above reflecting the abundant natural light. A criss-cross patterned rug grounds the space against a wooden floor, while textured ecru wall panels with wooden trim complete the refined interior ambiance.

Accommodation

Gladiator accommodates up to ten guests in five staterooms. The master stateroom features a king-size bed, an office area, dual walk-in closets, and an en-suite with an oversized tub and skylight. The four guest staterooms offer convertible setups between twin and double configurations, each with large windows and private en-suites. The yacht can carry up to 11 crew to provide full guest service.
