Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 40'6" beam and a 12'3" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,444 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2002. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in January 2004 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2004.
Exterior Design
Upon boarding through the wide passerelle, guests enter the aft deck, which benefits from the yacht's broad beam. The area is equipped with wrap-around bench seating and a table complemented by additional chairs, allowing for comfortable outdoor gatherings. The expansive glass windows and automated door lead guests from the outdoor splendor to the interior elegance.
The exterior design features a streamlined profile with integrated passageways that combine practicality and aesthetic appeal. The teak-lined passageways and powered doors offer convenient access points, while the vessel's outdoor decks are designed for versatility and enjoyment. Up top, the sundeck or flybridge offers guests a selection of plush loungers, a jacuzzi, and a bar area for relaxation and entertainment.
Marguerite's outdoor areas are thoughtfully arranged to maximize the use of space, with alfresco dining options, casual seating arrangements, and built-in wind protection for guest comfort. The upper decks provide further amenities, an outdoor shower, and additional lounging spaces that capitalize on the yacht's vantage points.
Storage for water toys, such as jet skis and a tender, is ample and strategically placed, ensuring guests have everything they need for their aquatic adventures.
Interior Design
Upon entering the main salon, guests are greeted by a formal sitting area that is both inviting and elegantly appointed. The care taken in the selection of materials is evident, with high-quality fabrics and finishes that include plush carpets underfoot and tiered accent lighting overhead.
The dining area, designed to accommodate a significant number of guests, is serviced by a cleverly concealed galley entrance. The hidden door, masked by a mirrored surface, allows for discreet crew access and underscores the yacht's commitment to sleek, unobtrusive design elements.
The main foyer serves as a central hub, featuring a magnificent staircase and an elevator with dual access—both a more ornately designed door for guests and a stainless steel door for crew use. This thoughtful design consideration ensures efficient movement throughout the vessel, maintaining an atmosphere of professional service without intrusion.
Marguerite's interior spaces include a Sky Lounge, which is configured to provide a less formal atmosphere compared to the main salon. It features a large television, intricate ceiling details, and a blend of comfortable seating arrangements. A separate bar and preparation area, equipped with a sink, refrigerators, and ice makers, underscores the yacht's readiness for entertaining and social gatherings.
The yacht's bridge, accessible from the owner's observation deck, is positioned to afford the captain a comprehensive view for navigational purposes.
The onboard gym is a notable amenity, boasting a full range of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, and a Peloton bike. Large windows afford panoramic views, enhancing the experience of exercising at sea.
Accommodation
Marguerite offers luxurious accommodations for up to 12 guests across six well-appointed cabins, complemented by provisions for a crew of up to 17 members.
At the heart of the guest quarters is the two-story owner's apartment, an expansive private area that affords both comfort and privacy. The lower level of the apartment features a king-size bed, a sitting area with large windows, and powered pocket doors. The owner's suite includes a comprehensive iPad control center, allowing the convenience of adjusting the environment and entertainment systems from the bedside. The suite boasts not one, but two en suite bathrooms: the first with a stone-finished steam shower and a walk-in closet, and the second with a large soaking tub, an additional steam shower, a bidet, and an even larger walk-in closet.
Ascending the stairs within the owner's apartment reveals an office space that doubles as a personal observation deck. A motorized television and a wrap-around seating area that follows the curvature of the room offer panoramic views through generously sized windows.
Adjacent to the owner's apartment is the VIP cabin, replete with substantial closet space, ample windows, and a private bathroom, elevating the guest experience to near owner-like levels of comfort.
Descending to the lower deck, guests will find four additional cabins. Two of these cabins feature a closet with built-in shoe racks, a double vanity, a sizeable tub, and a separate shower stall. The remaining two cabins maintain a similar standard of spaciousness and convenience, including a double vanity and separate shower in each en suite. One of these contains a king bed, while the other offers two single beds that can be configured according to guests' needs. Each cabin showcases subtle variations in color palettes, adding a unique touch to every space.
