Delivered in 2019, Najiba is a multi-award winning 190'3" expedition yacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Vitruvius, while Christian Liaigre has designed her interiors.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 36'2" beam and a 8'6" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 888 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in January 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2019.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Najiba is characterized by its plumb bow and streamlined profile. The yacht features a white hull and superstructure, providing a clean and classic appearance. The use of teak for the deck material adds a touch of traditional craftsmanship and durability. The contrast between the black boot top and below the waterline color against the white hull enhances the visual appeal. The overall design is straightforward, emphasizing functionality and straightforward aesthetics.
Accommodation
Najiba can comfortably host up to 12 guests across six guest cabins. Among these cabins are two master staterooms, a unique and notable feature of this vessel. The dual master suite configuration is tailored to provide an exceptional experience, allowing flexibility and comfort for the guests.
Located forward on the main deck, the first master suite offers expansive views and direct access to the foredeck. It is designed to be an open, airy space with premium furnishings and an ensuite bathroom. Positioned on an upper deck, the second master suite provides panoramic views and a sense of seclusion. Similar to the first, it includes high-end amenities and a spacious ensuite.
In addition to the master staterooms, Najiba includes four guest cabins situated on the lower deck. Each cabin is designed with the utmost attention to detail, providing a comfortable and luxurious retreat. Every cabin comes equipped with an ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests.
Najiba is also equipped to accommodate a dedicated crew of up to 14 members. Crew quarters are designed to ensure that the staff can deliver impeccable service while maintaining their own comfort and privacy. These quarters are separate from guest areas, allowing for discretion and efficiency in operations.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M72) 12-cylinder 1,448hp engines running at 2250rpm, motor yacht Najiba is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 23,775 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
