Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.8m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 1,979 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2005 with the keel laid under the project name 'Nemo'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Styled originally by Espen Øino and refined by Kristian Pascoli, Starfire's exterior features a crisp white hull with bold black accents, creating a sharp, contemporary silhouette. The yacht maintains her raked bow and robust construction, built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure for strength, longevity, and stability. Teak decks throughout offer a classic, durable finish.
The expansive swim platform acts as a full-beam beach club, dining area, and watersports hub. It flows seamlessly into the main deck aft, where a relaxed alfresco dining space is furnished with custom pieces by Finkeldei Interiors. The upper deck provides another informal lounge and dining option, while the pool deck features a heated 5m x 3m swimming pool with countercurrent capability that transforms into a large hot tub for group relaxation.
On the sundeck, guests find a glass-enclosed wellness space, surrounded by open lounge areas and a forward-facing observation lounge. An emergency landing pad for smaller helicopters remains a practical feature for remote arrivals.
Throughout the decks, retractable awnings and stylish cabanas provide flexible options for shade, while a bespoke basketball hoop and outdoor cinema add to the yacht’s vibrant outdoor lifestyle offerings.
Interior Design
Starfire's interior celebrates a perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary comfort. François Zuretti’s original American walnut panelling remains a signature element, now complemented by lighter materials, warmer lighting, and dramatically increased natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.
The main deck saloon has been opened into a single flowing space, combining a central seating area, a multi-functional games table to port, and lounge chairs to starboard, anchored by a beautifully carved walnut bar. Moving aft, guests find multiple casual and formal dining options, each space offering a relaxed but refined atmosphere.
The bridge deck lounge has been reimagined as an English pub, adding a social hub perfect for evening gatherings. A flexible children's playroom transforms easily into a chic lounge or disco, while a forward observation lounge offers panoramic views, either enclosed or open-air.
Entertainment options are abundant, with a dedicated indoor cinema, an outdoor cinema with daytime-bright projectors, a private gaming room, and a custom-designed indoor arcade space.
Crew areas have also been modernised, with a refreshed crew mess, gymnasium, and enhanced service spaces supporting world-class hospitality behind the scenes.
Accommodation
Starfire accommodates up to 12 guests across seven beautifully appointed cabins, with the versatility to sleep up to 16 including children, staff, or extra guests.
The full-beam master suite occupies a prime position on the main deck, complete with a forward-facing private observation lounge now converted into a personal fitness and relaxation space with a treadmill and Peloton. The master also features a private office, his-and-her walk-in wardrobes, and a spa-like marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, separate showers, and dual toilets.
The bridge deck hosts a stunning VIP suite, offering panoramic views and a large private sitting area. On the lower deck, four guest suites provide king-size beds and elegant ensuites, two of which feature hidden Murphy beds for greater accommodation flexibility. A dedicated twin bunk cabin, beautifully finished to match the main guest cabins, offers ideal space for children, nannies, or additional staff.
Accessibility across all decks is seamless, thanks to a central elevator servicing each level, and a wide, wheelchair-friendly stern passerelle.
The yacht carries a crew of 20 ensuring an extraordinary onboard experience at every turn.
