Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,804 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Launched in April 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2018.

Exterior Design

Sherpa, constructed by Feadship, features an explorer-like exterior with an unfaired hull. This design choice intentionally leaves the plate work and welding visible, creating an industrial appearance. Despite this rugged aesthetic, Sherpa's exterior does not compromise on high-end details. The yacht incorporates extensive use of teak, polished stainless steel, and carefully finished aluminum and steel elements, creating a visually appealing contrast against its industrial backdrop. The hull is painted in a rich black hue, complemented by a red and white boot stripe, while the superstructure contrasts in white and cream tones.

Sherpa's design emphasizes large open spaces on the main deck, which serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. Notably, the yacht is equipped with two giant boom cranes, extendable to twelve and twenty meters, designed for hoisting items on and off the vessel, including onto the helicopter deck and into the multipurpose garage located below.

An innovative aspect of Sherpa's design is the large hull door on the starboard side, which folds down to reveal a spacious beach club with a flush floor. Additionally, the cargo bay platform on the port side and the stern bulwark rotate to serve as access points or a swimming platform for the beach club.

Sherpa features an industrial-style exterior with an unfaired hull, large open decks, and giant boom cranes, complemented by robust performance capabilities.

Interior Design

Sherpa hosts a lounge, dining area, and bar/pantry, contributing to the vessel's generous guest facilities.

Accommodation

Sherpa is designed to sleep a total of seven guests across six cabins located in the forward sections of the vessel. The accommodation is comprised of the owner's stateroom, two VIP staterooms, and four additional suites.

Sherpa is also capable of carrying up to 22 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M53R) 16-cylinder 2,038hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Sherpa is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. She has a maximum range of 5,200 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

In addition, a generous beach club offers direct access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down.
