Delivered in 2015, Taiba is a 55.7m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts. Her exterior design comes from the drawing boards of HydroTec, while HydroTec is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 1,013 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2012. Launched in May 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2015.
Accommodation
Taiba offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M63) 2,012hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Taiba is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. She has a maximum range of 5,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A sumptuous cinema suite allows for movie nights at sea and Taiba features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
