Italian-based shipyard Columbus Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has delivered the custom 50m (164ft) aluminum motor yacht ANJELIF installed with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system.
Sporting a champagne-colored hull, motor yacht ANJELIF’s naval engineering was carried out by Palumbo Superyachts, while the exterior and interior were created by Marco Casali of the Italian studio Too-Design, with naval architecture by Hydro Tec.
The superyacht’s interior is crafted to the owner’s specifications, featuring an abundance of natural materials and dedicated wellness spaces, including a gym, sauna, and massage room. The main deck aft houses a swimming pool with an exposed teak finish, while the top deck boasts a second Jacuzzi. Additional amenities include a touch-and-go helipad on the bow that can be transformed into an open-air cinema when not in use.
Motor yacht ANJELIF also features a cold plasma system to remove airborne viruses and bacteria, along with automated interior air purification. The layout includes five guest cabins and accommodations for 11 crew members.
The yacht employs a hybrid system with two 100kW electric motors, enabling speeds of around 9 knots in diesel-electric mode. The dual system, which can function as shaft generators, allows for engine-off navigation and is backed by a modern lithium battery pack to prevent blackouts during power transitions.
Powered by twin 1,939kW MTU diesel engines, the 499 Gross Tonne (GT) superyacht achieves a top speed of 20 knots and offers a range of 3,000nm at 12 knots.
Motor yacht ANJELIF is set to premiere at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show.
