Absolute Yachts has claimed its soon to launch 60 FLY model will include a range of “ground-breaking design elements” for a flybridge yacht of its size.
One of the standout features of the 18.66m (61.3ft) yacht will be the Owner’s quarters. Set in the bow, the cabin is slightly elevated between the main and lower deck, allowing it to enjoy a good deal of beam and height, as well as great views out from massive windows.
The cabin features a walk-in wardrobe, vanity with a sea view and wide side windows. In fact glazed balustrades mean breath-taking views are on offer from both the flybridge and the cockpit.
On the upper deck there is a second open-air salon with alfresco galley and dining area and plenty of lounge space. Absolute has looked to create a sense of a large space without boundaries with the salon, galley and cockpit adjacent and connected by a continuous design.
The new model, which offers accommodation for six guests across three cabins, is due to be previewed in June at Marina di Varazze in Savona, Italy. The public launch is due to take place as part of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2021.
The 60 FLY will join Absolute’s range of flybridge cruisers, falling between the 58 FLY and the 62 FLY. The Absolute Flybridge range features full-beam Owner’s cabins as well as luxurious VIP cabins, extensive panoramic views and plenty of alfresco living spaces and sunbathing space.
