Featuring a new hull design concept and an exterior penned by Espen Oeino, the Amels 60 balances fuel consumption efficiency with the comfort of a full displacement vessel.
Following in the footsteps of previous models in Amels' popular Limited Editions, the new superyacht allows owners the freedom to have their say in the semi custom-built yacht, with a much faster delivery time than a full custom-built yacht.
Since the launch of the Limited Editions range in 2005, over 40 vessels have successfully been launched, showing that the reduced delivery time is a significant attraction to the stunning range of yachts.
Capable of reaching a top speed of 15.5 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 13 knots, the Amels 60 has the potential to reach an admirable range of 4,500 nautical miles.
The newly designed hull form aids the smooth and seamless journey for guests onboard, which is in turn assisted by the Hybrid by Amels Technology. The electric propulsion motors significantly enhance the onboard experience for guests by producing less vibration and noise during transit, making the voyage and quieter and all the more enjoyable.
In addition to the outstanding performance levels, the striking exterior lines will make the Amels 60 stand out in the marina. As a design which is stated to 'reflect the future', the expansive large windows around the main deck will act as a double feature, making her even more appealing from the outside and abundantly lit on the inside. A fully certified helipad on the bow plus a roomy sundeck and Jacuzzi are just some of the exterior features which highlight the exciting new model.
Interiors of the Amels 60 are just as luxurious with all the creations provided by London based studio Indigo. Working with a generous interior volume of 830 GT, the design studio has imagined a layout which emphasizes the amount of space and uses innovative solutions to enhance the room further.
A variety of customisable materials are used throughout the plush interiors, all of which accentuate the timeless and elegant feel of the 60-metre vessel. A spacious main salon and idyllic dining area highlight the main deck, alongside an impressive owner's suite which has its own private fold-down balcony.
Down on the lower deck, there are a further five suites which can accommodate up to 10 more overnight guests.
