Presented to her experienced German owner at the Livorno facility, the new custom built Benetti FB 276 named motor yacht Metis boasts collaborative design efforts from highly sought after names in the industry and has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.
Referred to Benetti by Kurt Lehmann of Yacht Moments, the new owner of Metis has had influential input in to the finished design of the custom built motor yacht including inspirational add ons like an additional upper deck gym.
Measuring up at 63 metres, Metis has a long bow with vertical straight edge and has a simple but characteristic design which embodies the Made In Italy image which encompasses Benetti as a brand.
Benetti confirmed once again its name as icon of timeless Italian style and excellence in megayacht construction. The highly skilled Benetti’s technicians and engineers and the artisans who worked for the shipyard have created an amazing yacht. The dedication of everyone in communicating and exchanging views with the captain and owner was remarkable.
Yacht Moments
Exteriors for the new FB 276 have been designed by the long standing collaboration between the in house Benetti design team and Giorgio M. Cassetta.
The modern vessel boasts flowing lines and showcases large areas ideal for external living and outdoor socialising with guests. Innovative features have also been incorporated in to the design, including a private deck.
Interiors for Metis on the other hand are the finished result of a collaboration between the German design studio Birgit Otte Interior and Bannenberg & Rowell, which is an English studio directed by Dickie Bannenberg and Simon Rowell. The unique layout of Metis gave the design team a whole new prospect as rooms have been rotated 30 degrees, allowing for new angles and even more exceptional viewpoints throughout the vessel. The new and unusual layout pays particular interest towards both the main deck saloon and upper deck saloon.
In addition to having the custom designed gym on the Fly Deck and the fully certified touch and go helipad, one of the main key features of Metis is the staggering owner's apartment. Covering over 160 square metres, the exclusive apartment boasts its own private lounge with ornate decoration plus impressive 180 degree views thanks to full length floor to ceiling glazing along the private bow deck attached to the apartment.
Other accommodation onboard can accommodate guests in plush and comfortable environments which all follow the same prestige level of design. An exclusive babysitting cabin has also been designed, which has its own private lounge and terrace for entertaining the younger guests onboard.
