M/Y BACCHANAL is now enjoying her maiden voyage as she explores the seas with her experienced Benetti owner.
Delivered during an exclusive hand over ceremony at the Viareggio facility, the new 47 metre vessel is powered by a pair of MTU 12V engines and has a top speed of 15.8 knots. The economical cruising speed of 10 knots allows BACCHANAL to reach an admirable range of 5,900 nautical miles, meaning she is capable of making transatlantic crossings.
Designed entirely by the in house team at Benetti, the new FB703 has a sleek and elegant exterior which is praised for it's effective simplicity. The exterior living arrangement is deliberately on par with the interiors by specific request of the new Mexican owner, making the transition effortless and cancels out any boundaries.
Exteriors boast an exceptional amount of opportunities to enjoy the sea breeze including a custom built swimming pool on the sun deck. Lined with mosaic by Sicis, guests can enjoy the cool waters while making the most of the spectacular views on offer.
Access to the other decks, bar the lower deck, is seamless for moving around the megayacht thanks to the installation of a dumb waiter.
After my first Benetti in 2015, I came back to work with a team that on my opinion realises one of the best yachts in the world. I’m happy that everything is the result of a masterfully orchestrated teamwork and all my ideas and wishes were welcomed.
With the sale first announced in 2017, designers and the specially selected architect Mauricio Gómez de Tuddo worked closely alongside the new owner to achieve a dream vessel with the iconic Made In Italy ethos. All four decks are adorned with premium brands like Minotti, Flexform, Giorgetti, Rimadesio, Poltrona Frau and Exteta to further enhance the Italian quality throughout.
The main salon is spacious and provides plenty of space for relaxing and socialising with guests. A plush seating area is accompanied by a formal dining arrangement, both of which are abundantly lit by natural light flooding through a wide expanse of windows. With stunning views at nearly every angle guests can enjoy outdoor living from the comfort of the interiors.
Volume continues to play a vital role in other areas of the craft including the guest bathroom facilities. The already generous amount of space is emphasised by the use of contrasting black granite and Thassos marble.
The owner has an exclusive sanctuary on the main deck in the form of a full beam private apartment which also includes a private office. From the apartment the owner can enjoy tranquil views of the sea and surrounding landscapes from an attached veranda with a glass sliding door.
In addition to the private owner's suite there are another five guest cabins onboard which can accommodate another 10 guests. A VIP suite on the upper deck boasts impressive views and an additional two VIP cabins and two guest cabins are all located on the lower deck.
