Cannes Yachting Festival returns for glamourous 44th edition

After nearly two years of waiting, the glistening Bay of Cannes eagerly awaits the prestigious return of the Cannes Yachting Festival to Vieux Port and Port Canto.

Now embarking on its 44th edition, the annual event showcases an impressive array of production yachts for sale along with one of the most exuberant displays of sailing boats on the yachting events calendar.

Following the prolonged wait between editions, after the cancellation of the 2020 show, it comes as no surprise that the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival has an outstanding lineup for the show, with more yachts being added by the day.

An impressive 140 world premieres are scheduled throughout the duration of the event, out of 600 models currently scheduled to attend.

The flybridge category never fails to impress at a boat show and the upcoming Cannes event looks to deliver a show of shows in this highly sought-after niche.

Several of the big names in the yachting industry have flybridge world debuts to showcase including the British-built Princess Y72, the Azimut 68 and the second generation Absolute 60 Fly.

Available to see at Vieux Port, all the production yachts will be displayed alongside their relevant stands. Brand representatives are on hand around the docks to conduct tours onboard the yachts and answer any queries regarding purchasing and maintaining a yacht.

Many more flybridge yachts will be attending the event from the likes of Sunseeker, Benetti and Ferretti Yachts.

Again appearing from a multitude of well-known shipyards, the stunning models include some groundbreaking designs including the Azimut Grande Trideck and the high profile world debut of the Benetti Motopanfilo.

Many more models are anticipated to attend, with even more models listed for the specialist brokerage area at Port Canto.

What to expect at Cannes

Enduring a reimagined layout in 2019 to provide a seamless transition throughout the exhibits, the 2021 edition of the Cannes-based event will be the first chance many visitors have to really appreciate the new setup.

Separating motor yachts for sale in Vieux Port and sailing boats in Port Canto has really opened up the show, with more advantageous viewpoints to see the displaying models up close and of course navigate the different areas with ease.

Multiple attractions are set to make their welcome return to the proceedings, including the Concours D'Elegance display, the premium Luxury Gallery and the array of fast and furious sports cars.

Taking into account the ongoing effects of the global pandemic, it's highly recommended to check travel restrictions before booking the event.
