The highly anticipated 79.5m (261ft) Feadship superyacht, Project 715, has been spotted en route to the shipyard's outfitting facility in Aalsmeer, in the Netherlands.
Scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2025, the vessel's build process and engineering have been shrouded in secrecy since construction commenced in 2022.
Promising innovation and sustainable performance, Project 715 boasts an impressive 2,025GT and is classified as ice-classed, ensuring safe navigation in challenging environments. Feadship proudly touts it as featuring "one of the most environmentally friendly and efficient yacht propulsion systems available today."
Driven by a diesel-electric-battery-solar propulsion system, the superyacht aims to set new standards for eco-conscious luxury cruising. With advanced water-cooled batteries, the yacht can operate with a zero-carbon footprint for up to two days, showcasing Feadship's commitment to sustainability and responsible stewardship of the seas.
Initial glimpses of the vessel reveal striking design elements, including a subtly flared bow designed to accommodate tender storage, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views, and an impressive five-deck layout. The masterful naval architecture, credited to De Voogt, ensures both a stylish aesthetic and optimal performance.
