Italian yacht builder Cantieri di Pisa has unveiled the Saturno 56, the first model in its newly launched Saturno range.
The 56m (184ft) superyacht will be the first in a series that spans from 38m (125ft) to the 90m (295ft) Super Saturno 90 flagship, each offering a blend of the shipyard's classic design and modern innovations.
The Saturno 56's exterior design, crafted in-house by Cantieri di Pisa, features a traditional stern, distinctive striped detailing on the hull, and expansive "ribbon windows" that flood the interiors with natural light.
Antonio Luxardo, the shipyard's chief designer, described the Saturno range as having "a classic layout that reprises Cantieri di Pisa’s traditional stylistic hallmarks while satisfying the demands of contemporary owners of all ages." The new line is designed to balance spaces for relaxation and sport, reflecting the modern owner's desire for versatile, light-filled environments.
Inside, the Saturno 56 offers a serene and minimalist atmosphere, thanks to the Milan-based design studio m2atelier. The interiors are inspired by Japanese aesthetics, featuring symmetrical layouts, coffered ceilings, and three-dimensional wood elements.
The yacht accommodates guests across six cabins, with additional highlights including a glass-bottomed swimming pool, a gym on the sundeck, and a beach club connected to the main and upper decks by a transverse staircase.
Powered by twin 1,600hp Caterpillar engines, the Saturno 56 also explores hybrid propulsion possibilities, while its EHPH (Eco High Power Hull) displacement hull ensures long-range cruising with reduced fuel consumption.
