Spanish builder De Antonio Yachts is set to unveil its flagship model, the 14.9m (49ft) D50 Open which offers numerous customization options and a top speed of over 50 knots.
The new model is based on the same hull mould as its award-winning D46, which took home the European Powerboat of the Year award in 2019, but offers more space and features such as an optional 2.5m (8.2ft) Jacuzzi and large hydraulic swimming platform.
The D50’s sundeck hides the powerful outboard motors, with 7 different engine combinations possible up to a maximum power of 1800 HP and a speed of over 50 knots. Towards the bow there is a large dinette and an outdoor kitchen, which can be protected by either a soft-top covering or a hard-top in carbon-fiber, steel and glass.
The lower deck has three layout possibilities. The standard layout consists of a forward owner’s cabin, a bathroom with a separate toilet and shower cabin and a full-beam U-shaped dinette that can be converted into a double bed thanks to the sliding table positioned in the center.
A second layout provides two double cabins instead of the U-shaped dinette, whilst a third layout consists of two cabins (master and double) and a crew cabin with its own bathroom.
The D50 is set to launch imminently and will become the flagship model of the De Antonio range which runs from 8.5m to 15m (28 to 50ft). The yard was founded in 2012 and is based in Barcelona.
