The fourth hull of the award-winning Pearl 62 has been delivered to a UK Owner and is the first to feature Kelly Hoppen’s Luxury interior design style.
The smallest yacht in Pearl’s range features a full-beam Owner’s cabin accessed via a private stairway, two twin cabins that can be converted to doubles and a VIP cabin. At 18.61m (61ft) the shipyard claim that the Pearl 62 is the first flybridge yacht of her size to house four cabins.
The intricately finished interior comes from world-renowned designer Kelly Hoppen MBE. New owners have the choice of either Luxury or Modern interior styles, with the Owner of this hull choosing the Luxury interior.
Other highlights include extensive glazed areas to bathe the salon in natural light, a large and versatile flybridge area with a shaded seating area under the hardtop, a fully stocked wet bar and an extendable swim platform to connect guests with the water.
Powered by a pair of Volvo IPS engines, the sleek-looking Pearl 62 most recently took home the ‘Best Flybridge over 50ft’ in the 2021 Motor Boat Awards.
The judging panel from the Motor Boat & Yachting magazine praised the work of the naval architect Bill Dixon for “managing to fit four stellar cabins, plus crew space, aboard a boat of this size” and were impressed by the use of space onboard and the Kelly Hoppen interiors. They concluded by saying “arguably the biggest achievement is that Pearl has managed to deliver all this while still undercutting its key competitors”.
