Ocean King has officially introduced its new 40m (131ft) flagship superyacht, now named LORI, at a private ceremony in Chioggia, Italy ahead of delivery to its owner.
Marking the first yacht in the builder’s Doge 400 series, LORI is the result of a design collaboration between Design aLOT by Alessandro Lottici for the exterior, BURDISSOCAPPONI Yachts & Design for the interiors, and InNave for naval architecture.
With a substantial 428 GT volume and an 8.5m (28ft) beam, LORI can accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms, supported by a crew of seven in four cabins.
Onboard, notable features include an open-plan main saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows, a formal dining room on the upper deck that connects to a sundeck complete with a bar and swimming pool, and a beach club with fold-down balconies for panoramic views.
Powered by twin MAN engines, LORI has a cruising speed of 13 knots, a top speed of 16 knots, and a range of 5,500nm at 10 knots. After her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show, the focus will shift to the second Doge 400 yacht, scheduled for delivery in 2025.
