Lurssen TIS breaks record as largest ever yacht at Monaco Yacht Show

Lurssen have officially confirmed that their stunning megayacht, TIS, will be attending the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. Measuring up at 111 metres, she will become the largest vessel ever to display at the prestigious event.

Taking over from the previous record holder of two years, TIS measures up at just one metre longer than the previous record holder, Oceanco Jubilee.

Boasting top speeds of 18 knots, the 364 foot megayacht was delivered to her owner in July 2019 and is ranked at number 33 in the top 100 largest yachts rankings in the world.

With both interiors and exteriors being designed by Andrew Winch Design, there is a charming continuity of style and elegance throughout the vessel with a striking dark blue hull to make her stand out.

The design brief was for TIS to feel light, fresh and open, but with a classical twist. With a beam of 16.85 metres and her 4,500 GT volume, the sheer space inside the yacht became one of the key ingredients to convincingly convey the grand and magical ambience the designers were after.

Spanning over a total of six decks, TIS has a varied selection of key features starting off with a spacious beach club. With abundant space for relaxed socialising by the waves, comfortable seating adorns the decking with seamless access to the water with rear steps.

Adventures in the sea are well catered to with plenty of storage space for a total of four tenders plus a submarine and watersports equipment. For guests wanting to remain onboard, a 12 metre swimming pool on the upper aft deck provides a prime opportunity to enjoy the cool waters with staggering scenic views.

Further entertainment around the exteriors include a transforming exterior cinema which can also operate as a helipad and dancefloor.

Interiors of TIS are highly indulgent and timeless. The living areas are roomy yet cosy and inviting and have abundant natural lighting from the extensive windows around the cream superstructure.

In addition to an elaborate main saloon, stunning opulent palatial staircases and a formal dining option, guests can also enjoy a resort style spa situated at beach club level plus an interior cinema.

Overnight accommodation onboard TIS comprises of nine elaborately decorated cabins. Capable of accommodating up to 18 guests at a time, the master apartments are found on the upper deck alongside a masterpiece of an owner's suite which comes complete with a built in skylight and a pair of fixed balconies.
