Riva launches first 76’ Perseo Super

The 23.25m (76ft) yacht features a classically sleek and sporty Riva look and is set to be with her new Owner in time for the summer season.

The launch of its 76’ Perseo Super in La Spezia adds another sleek sportsbridge yacht to the Riva fleet.

The 23.25m (76ft) yacht features many of the traditional Riva hallmarks and is an evolution of Riva’s 76’ Perseo. Over 40 square meters (430 sq. ft) of glazed surfaces on the hull and superstructure enhance its sleek profile for a truly sporty look, whilst the mahogany and polished stainless steel detailing recall the authentic Riva heritage.

"Only Riva can propel a legend into the future, because only Riva perfectly understands the codes of the brand's tradition and its aesthetic and technological know-how," said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. "The result is Riva 76' Perseo Super, whose prodigious beauty radiates elegance and sportiness. Super by name and also in reality."

Highlights of the new yacht include a dining area that can easily convert into a spacious sunpad, a separate sun deck with a four-square meter (43 sq. ft) sunpad, a three-cabin layout, with the option of adding a fourth cabin, and a lower deck lounge and galley. A tender can also be stored in her garage and launched via the lowering swim platform.

Twin MAN V12 1,550 MHP V-engines give a top speed of 32-knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.

The newly launched yacht is set to be handed over to her Owner in time to enjoy the summer season, with her official debut set to come at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

Riva has a long history, having been established in 1842 as a builder of uniquely styled sailing boats. Over the ensuing decades the company has continually evolved and has become synonymous with classic Italian styling and premium quality construction. In 2000 it became part of the Ferretti Group.

According to YachtBuyer intelligence it has delivered almost 90 yachts since 2010, with a further ten set to be delivered over the next two years. Earlier this year it launched its flagship 50m (164ft) superyacht FIFTY and last month it unveiled details of its model the sports-lux 68’ Diable.
