Sanlorenzo has delivered its second 44Alloy yacht, motor yacht KAMAKASA, out of the five hulls that the Italian shipyard has already sold.
The 44.5m (146ft) superyacht is one of a model line that updates the award-winning 40Alloy, and is dedicated to providing innovative, comfortable space for its Owners, as well as seamlessly connected interior and exterior space.
Penned by studio Zuccon International Project, the exterior is made entirely of lightweight aluminium. Meanwhile, inside, the centrepiece is the Owner’s cabin, a self-proclaimed apartment that takes up all three decks and occupies a staggering 154 sq. m (1657.5 sq. ft) area.
With the 44Alloy having a volume of 480 Gross Tonnes, Sanlorenzo states this is a design choice never seen on any similarly sized yacht available to buy.
The fulcrum of the project is the Owner’s cabin conceived as a private apartment of 154 sq. m, divided into three levels with indoor and outdoor areas, a solution never seen before on a superyacht of this size.

The tri-deck apartment takes up both interior and exterior areas, providing Owners with incredibly adaptable and roomy private quarters.
Owner’s cabin included, the superyacht can accommodate ten guests overall, thanks to four additional rooms on the lower deck. It has provisions for a crew of up to nine and a beam of 9m (29.5ft).
Also below deck is a beach club aft, which can open on the port and starboard sides, and at the stern, resulting in a hugely open interior space that makes guests feel as close as possible to the sea.
Forward, the foredeck is a large, open space that offers the Owner a wide array of potential usages. On the first 44Alloy hull, motor yacht H1, for example, the area was used for a luxurious dip pool, as well as a sofa and sunpad.
Twin engines and a fast-displacement hull with a 2.3m (7.5ft) draft give this yacht a 21-knot top speed.
