Sunreef Unveils First Rendering Of New 40m Sunreef Explorer

Multi-hull specialists Sunreef Yachts have revealed initial exterior renderings of their 'transoceanic' 40m (131') Sunreef Explorer, taking its place as one of the largest catamarans in the fleet.

Superceding the 33.75m (110.7') Sunreef 110 Power, which launched in 2019, Sunreef expect its new explorer yacht to boast 'solid performance in rough seas', with the additional seven meters offering multiple extra amenities.

Planned to be built with a composite hull and superstructure, the new explorer yacht remains true to the range of yachts for sale in the Sunreef fleet with an impressive-looking list of customizable features, meaning no two 40m Sunreef Explorer yachts will be the same.

Stating a 13.34m (43.8') beam, early indications suggest expansive onboard living areas, matching up with the advertised 654 square meters of space to be divided over three decks.

Designed to provide top-of-the-range facilities for 'discovering new horizons', the new addition to the Sunreef Power range depicts an integrated launch crane plus a hydraulic swim platform aft. In addition to the launching facilities, the shipyard claims there is also enough storage for a seven-meter tender, two Jet Skis plus a selection of water toys. The interiors sound to be just as indulgent, with an extensive bow terrace looking to provide a relaxation area with large sun pads and an on-deck whirlpool with a wet bar.

Customizations initially suggest the possibility of adding a fold-down balcony to the master cabin and a playroom which includes a self-levelling pool table.
