The intelligent design of the bathing platform is praised, this can be extended when at anchor and retracted when in port to save on berthing costs.

There is a bar area with retractable storage and bins, as well as the extending passerelle for stern-to berthing access. The boat's modular area is impressive and can be reconfigured for different uses. The clever placement of the sliding door maximises space in the galley.

Nick admires the boat's lighting, calling it 'brilliant', and highlights the 'welcome home' button which lights up the whole boat. Also appreciated are the various storage solutions on the yacht, including dedicated lockers for the slotting rails and folding Fairline chairs.

The flybridge has an optional hardtop, seating area, sunbathing area and bar area. The table here can extend to become an additional dining area.  The upper helm has companion seating, twin seats, bow and stern thrusters and an amazing view.

Inside the yacht, Nick is struck by the quality of the Fairline woodwork and the boat's overall finish. He points out the large drawer fridges which can be reconfigured and set to different temperatures. Also mentioned are the options for additional fridges, a wine cooler and an ice maker.

Noting the upholstery choice on the yacht, it is acknowledged that there are plenty of options available for a personalised interior. The 50-inch retractable television, the Sonos sound system and the table which can be adjusted for dining or lounging are all highlighted. He praises the beautiful helm seats and the all-glass cockpit with its comprehensive instrumentation.

In terms of the cabins, the spacious VIP guest cabin with its dressing table area and hanging locker is appreciated. He praises the quality of the finishes, the hull windows and the ventilation options. Also admired is the owner's cabin, noting the washer dryer, AV equipment, air conditioning controls and the ample storage.

The crew cabin can be accessed from the transom staircase.  This can be used as an overflow cabin or a space for a deckhand or stewardess.  It is well appointed with ensuite.

The engine room has Volvo Penta D13-1000 engines, a fire extinguishing system, fuel filters, a Victron system for battery management, and a generator. The engines can give a top speed of 33 knots fully loaded.  The range at a dropped speed can be up to 600-700 nautical miles. He appreciates the well-lit and well-organised nature of the engine room, noting it's a typical Fairline quality.

Overall, Nick is highly impressed with the Fairline Squadron 58, praising its design, finish, functionality and quality. He appreciates the thought that has been put into every inch of the yacht, from the finishes to the lighting. It is clear that the Squadron 58 is a high-quality, luxurious and well-designed yacht.
