The Amels 272 was built in the Netherlands by Amels with a multi-award winning international design team, exterior styling by Tim Heywood Design from the UK and interior design by the UK's Winch Design. The 83m/272'4" superyacht constructed in steel can sleep up to sixteen guests in eight cabins. She was available with only one option for inboard engines.
Development started in 2017 and the first model rolled off the production line later the same year. She won 'Best Rebuilt Yacht' at the 2022 World Superyacht Awards.
She can comfortably maintain a cruising speed of 13 knots via her twin 3,151hp Caterpillar 3516C C05 engines. In terms of range, the Amels Amels 272 has a standard range of 5,500 nautical miles (nm).
