La Belle Classe YCM Explorer Awards

Launched in 2019 to coincide with Ocean Week in Monaco, La Belle Classe YCM Explorer Awards look to recognize yacht Owners who proactively take steps to assist in taking care of the environment.

Held annually in March, the YCM Explorer Awards are presented by the President of the Monaco Yacht Club, HSH Prince Albert II.

Normally scheduled as a climax of a one-day Environment Symposium during Ocean Week, the event is organized by the YCM and usually presents around five awards. Criteria for each award surround the Owner’s conception of their superyacht, how they use it, and the difference it can make to the environment.
