The glitz and glamour is ready to return to Florida for the 59th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boats Show. Following a very successful year in 2017, the show is back bigger and better than ever before.
After an exciting contract signing with the show organisers, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Yachting Centre, to extend the longevity by another 50 years, the established event promises to use the extra guaranteed time on the land to make the highly anticipated show even more of a dominant force in the boating calendar.
The five day show once again makes the most of the stunning selection of locations with exhibits being displayed at the Hall of Fame Marina, Sails Marina, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Yachting Centre, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Pier 66 Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina and Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Centre.
During the 59th edition this year, FLIBS (Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show) continues to make its mark as the biggest in water boat show in the world with 1200 boats expected to attend with around 1000 exhibitors adorning the boardwalks. Many world premieres are scheduled to take place as well as some exclusive seminars, fishing clinics and watersports demonstrations.
New for FLIBS 2018, a new dedicated show entrance along Seabreeze Boulevard towards the north end of the Bahia Mar Hotel and Marina property has been created for the exclusive use of VIPs to improve access to the show. A much larger plaza is also in place, accentuating and heightening the atmosphere of the fast paced show.
