The C8.7 engine boasts a sophisticated fuel delivery system that incorporates a radial, belt-driven supercharger alongside the traditional turbocharger. This unique feature eliminates smoke and minimizes lugging, resulting in exceptional low-end torque and remarkable fuel efficiency.

Thanks to advancements in second-generation common rail fuel injection systems by FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) Industrial and an innovative air management system, the compact C8.7 engine can achieve an impressive output of 641hp (650mhp) @ 2,300 rpm while adhering to EPA Tier 3 Commercial, EPA Tier 3 Recreational, IMO II, and EU Stage IIIA (EU IW) emissions standards.
