Cummins Quantum Series Range

The Quantum range from Cummins offers a vast selection of turbo diesel engines for the leisure yacht market.

The range is broken down into various models - QSB, QSC, QSM - offering multiple horsepower outputs. Each model offers a different cubic capacity and focus on power-to-weight ratio, creating useful options across the cruising range, so whether your yacht is slow displacement or fast planing there should be a Quantum model to fit the bill.    

Running from the popular six-cylinder 6.7lt QSB block, which is very much suited to modern fast-cruising needs at 240hp-540hp, the Quantum range can offer engine capacities of nearly 100lt with close to 3000hp available. But it is in the Owner-operated mid-range sectors that the Quantum engines are most notable, with a good selection of six and eight-cylinder engines of between 250hp and 700hp.

All Quantum engines offer electronic fuel injection, turbochargers, weight-saving composite parts and an eye on Owner maintenance with easily accessed service points.
