Fiart Yachts History & Heritage

Founded in 1960 by Ruggiero di Luggo, Fiart originated from the dreams of a passionate boat enthusiast who, from childhood, envisioned building and painting boats. Embarking on a fruitful career as a construction engineer, Di Luggo's vision materialized with the construction of Conchita, a groundbreaking 3.6m fiberglass boat that marked Europe's first of its kind.

In 1961, Fiart showcased four Conchitas at a maritime exhibition in Milan, garnering immense popularity and receiving 60 orders upon its official launch the following year. Evolving in 1964 with the introduction of the larger Super Conchita, Fiart continued to make waves.

By 1976, Fiart expanded its commercial network, reaching the UAE. In 1980, Fiart achieved a milestone by introducing Genius, featuring a third cabin, a pioneering move that made it the first motorboat with three cabins. Simultaneously, Fiart collaborated with BMW to create the Arrow model, a partnership that garnered significant acclaim.

Entering the 1990s, Fiart's range grew in size and reputation. The Fiart 35 and Fiart 27 were introduced in 1991, followed by the highly successful Fiart 40 in 1998, selling over 100 units.

Transitioning into the new millennium, Fiart celebrated its 50th anniversary with the introduction of the Epica line. In 2011, the Fiart Seawalker made its debut, followed by the Classic line's inaugural model, the Fiart 52, in 2016.

Remaining a family affair, every Fiart boat in the early days underwent testing by a Di Luggo family member. Founder Ruggiero di Luggo steered the company for over half a decade.

Presently headquartered in Bayeux, on the shores of the Gulf of Naples, Fiart occupies a vast 50,000 square meters. The company has expanded its presence with offices in Spain, France, Croatia, Turkey, and Israel, reflecting its enduring commitment to excellence and global recognition.
