Adonis is a 24m motor yacht delivered by Turkish shipyard Numarine in 2018. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Can Yalman, while Umberto Tagliavini is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 5.78m beam and a 1.64m draft.

This was the first yacht built on the 78 HTS design.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Adonis is defined by a Spoon Bow, which contributes to its smooth and efficient navigation through the water. The hull is finished in a striking Shark Grey, complemented by a White superstructure. This color scheme is accentuated by an Orange boot top and a Black finish below the waterline, creating a visually appealing contrast. The deck is crafted from high-quality Teak, known for its durability and classic appearance.

Starting with the hydraulic swim platform at the transom area, you'll find a hot tub, a feature that is rare for a yacht of this size. This space also includes inserts for removable chocks, allowing you to store a tender or jet ski.

Moving forward, the main deck features a spacious alfresco dining area that can comfortably seat 8 to 12 guests. Adjacent to this area is a cockpit grill and storage space. The deck machinery, including the windlass, is hidden away to maintain a clean aesthetic.

The side decks, both port and starboard, have boarding gates and lead to the foredeck. Here, you'll find a lounging area that can accommodate 8 to 12 guests, along with an emergency hatch for the VIP cabin.

On the sundeck, two aft-facing sun lounges offer privacy and protection from the wind while underway or at anchor. The absence of a helm on the sundeck enhances this sense of seclusion.

Interior Design

The abundant use of glass throughout the yacht is a notable feature, particularly in the salon area, allowing for an influx of natural light and creating an unexpected sense of space. In the main deck salon, the starboard side features an L-shaped settee, which is practical for making the most of the large window views. Adjacent to this, there is a well-appointed bar area that includes a fridge, freezer, and ice maker. The port side of the salon houses a pop-up TV and additional storage for audiovisual equipment. There is also a spacious seating area with electric tables that can descend to transform the space into a lounging area.

The helm area is designed with functionality in mind, featuring bucket-style racing seats and high-gloss veneer accents. The helm itself includes an eplex display by New Marine, managing DC and AC power, lighting control, and navigation. Key controls like the throttles, bow thruster, and Raymarine autopilot are centrally located, along with a Ritchie Compass for navigation.

The galley is situated just forward of the engine room and is equipped with a full-size Furin fridge, wine cooler, sink, and overhead storage. Outboard, there is a porthole for additional light. The galley also includes appliances such as a Furion oven and cooktop, microwave, and an air extractor.

Accommodation

Adonis offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites. The Owner's Suite offers a generous amount of space complemented by diamond-shaped hull side windows that allow ample natural light to flood the room. Storage is abundant, with multiple lockers and hanging spaces, ensuring that all personal items can be neatly stowed away. The suite also includes a concealed television behind a mirror, which doubles as a functional virtual assistant with web browsing capabilities.

In addition to the Owner's Suite, Adonis includes a VIP cabin and two twin cabins. The VIP cabin is situated forward and features a skylight above and large windows on the sides, providing a bright and airy atmosphere. It also comes with ample storage and an ensuite bathroom with similar high-end finishes found in the Owner's Suite.

The two twin cabins are located on the starboard side. These cabins are equipped with diamond-shaped hull side windows, ensuring a well-lit environment. Each twin cabin also includes storage lockers, overhead storage, and a television. Both cabins come with ensuite bathrooms.

Located just forward of the engine room and aft, the crew quarters include transverse berths, an ensuite head, and a separate shower. The crew area also features essential amenities such as a full-size fridge, wine cooler, oven, cooktop, and microwave, ensuring that the crew has everything they need at their disposal.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12-1550) 12-cylinder 1,550hp engines, motor yacht Adonis is capable of reaching a top speed of 38 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 4,164 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
