Delivered in 2004, Alaska is a 43.9m motor yacht built by Shipworks Brisbane. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Bernie Cohen Design, while Burness Corlett Three Quays is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.24m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 457 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2000 with the keel laid under the project name 'Renegade II'. Launched in February 2004 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in February 2004.
Exterior Design
Alaska's dark blue hull is a bold choice, as this hue often reveals any inconsistencies in the construction, but on Alaska it enhances the yacht's sleek profile and the precision of its build. The superstructure of the yacht is tri-level and raked back from the bow, topped by a stepped radio mast that contributes to the vessel's distinctive silhouette.
The sun deck is an inviting space for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a spa pool, sun pads, a barbecue, and a bar, all arranged to maximize enjoyment and comfort for guests.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht Alaska utilizes a palette of subdued colors and quality materials. The dining room's design is anchored by dark walnut, with wall panels dressed in Thai silk, adding a touch of Asian influence, while solid walnut columns and skirting maintain a cohesive theme throughout.
The helm of Alaska is designed for functionality and ease of use, with controls and navigation equipment positioned for optimal accessibility. It serves as the command center of the yacht, where the captain can operate with clear lines of sight and within reach of all necessary systems.
In the galley, functionality meets style with a spacious layout equipped with Zanussi appliances. The area is designed to cater to high culinary standards, providing the crew with the tools necessary for preparing a wide range of dishes. The use of cashew marble and stainless steel surfaces in the galley underscores the yacht's commitment to both durability and aesthetic appeal.
Accommodation
Alaska accommodates up to ten guests in its elegant quarters, ensuring a private experience. The lower deck features a full-beam VIP stateroom fitted with a king-sized bed, a cozy sofa, a desk, and an en suite bathroom complete with a spa tub. Two additional guest doubles are also situated on this deck, each boasting hand-tufted Tai Ping carpets, silk-upholstered wall panels, timber with zebrano veneers, and crema marfil marble in the en suite bathrooms. For extra guest space, the upper level includes a small twin guest stateroom, rounding out the sleeping arrangements to ensure everyone on board enjoys a restful and luxurious stay.
The owner's suite is located on the main deck, forward of the entrance lobby. It includes a compact study, a generous walk-in wardrobe, and a set of stairs leading to a secluded bedroom area. The suite has been planned to enhance the onboard living experience, featuring a bed positioned to face aft for comfort when underway and a dramatic Romanesque en suite bathroom with dark marble and gold fittings.
Alaska also ensures that the crew's living quarters are comfortable and well-appointed. The forward section of the lower deck houses the crew accommodations, comprising two twin-berthed cabins with individual en suite shower rooms and two single cabins with a shared en suite. The crew mess, with ample natural light and a view of the foredeck, is designed to offer the crew a pleasant living and working environment.
Performance & Capabilities
Alaska is equipped with two robust Caterpillar 3412E diesel engines, each producing an output of 900 horsepower. These engines provide a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Additionally, her significant fuel capacity of 70,000 liters enables an impressive range. At a cruising speed of 10 knots, she can cover a distance of 5,600 nautical miles, affording her guests the luxury of extended voyages without frequent refueling stops.
Alaska's stability is enhanced by Quantum QC-1500 active fin stabilizers. These sophisticated systems work to reduce roll motion, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable experience for guests, particularly in rough sea conditions.
Maneuverability is further augmented by a 100hp Quantum QT-120 bow thruster, providing additional precision and control during docking and navigating through confined waters.
For electrical power needs, Alaska is fitted with two 145kW Caterpillar 3306B generators. These generators ensure a consistent and reliable supply of electricity for all onboard systems and guest amenities. The vessel is also equipped with a comprehensive fire protection system, including a Desmi Sea Fire Marine 2000 for the ship's main system and Simrad for the engine room.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Alaska also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
