Delivered in 2006, Alouette II is a 54.2m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard CRN. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Zuccon, while CRN is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 885 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in mid 2003. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in April 2006.

Exterior Design

Alouette II's steel hull, with its considerable beam, affords an exceptionally large volume that translates to spacious interiors rarely seen in yachts of her length. While the hull may present a somewhat boxy appearance aft, this is artfully mitigated by the yacht's curvaceous superstructure, which softens the silhouette and imparts a sense of dynamism. The bridge area emphasizes this curvature, sweeping around in a graceful semicircle and crowned by a distinctive lookout structure, echoing the yacht's elegant lines.

Guests aboard Alouette II are treated to an array of outdoor amenities that cater to relaxation and entertainment. The uppermost deck offers a generous expanse for sunbathing, socializing, and enjoying the panoramic views. Here, the central streamlined deckhouse contains stairways leading to a guest lobby and crew access, while also housing essential amenities. The adjacent alfresco dining area, complete with a bar, provides a shaded retreat for guests to dine in the open air. Forward, the spa pool beckons for a refreshing dip, and the aft section doubles as a helipad, accommodating aircraft up to 1.5 tonnes, ensuring versatile use of the generous deck space.

The upper deck continues the theme of luxury outdoor living, featuring a formal alfresco dining table and inviting corner settees perfect for casual gatherings or sunset cocktails. The Portuguese bridge forward of the bridge is an expansive seating area, offering a quieter outdoor space when the yacht is moored.

Descending to the main deck, additional seating and coffee tables create a welcoming environment for guests, whether they are preparing to embark on a tender journey or simply enjoying the proximity to the water. The yacht's 'gym and swim' area on the lower deck is a stylish and functional space, with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, a sauna, and Turkish bath. This wellness center opens onto a broad teak platform, inviting guests to engage in water activities or relax by the sea.

Whether guests are drawn to the cinematic experience offered by the upper saloon's transformation into a comfortable cinema, or the serene relaxation provided by the guest cabins, each space aboard Alouette II has been meticulously designed to deliver an unparalleled experience of comfort, quality, and luxury.

Interior Design

Eight distinct and precious woods grace the interior paneling and joinery, among which honey-colored myrtle burl and walnut burl, banded in diamond patterns with blond maple, stand out, offering a warm and inviting aesthetic. This rich palette is complemented by playful design elements, such as the faux zebra Ralph Lauren chairs in the main deck saloon and the faux crocodile textures in the upper saloon, creating a visual and tactile feast that is both luxurious and lighthearted.

The interior's classical elements are further highlighted by a selection of art deco touches, including Versace wall sconces, Leone Aliotti table lamps, and Banci up-lighters that boast real silver detailing. Italian marble craftsmanship is showcased within the lobbies, particularly in the main hallway where the Alouette II logo is artfully inlaid within a crema marfil floor, surrounded by dark imperator marble.

Fine dining aboard the Alouette II is an aesthetic delight, with glass-topped tables by Zago revealing their elegant framework, enhancing the spacious feel of the yacht's dining areas. A grand piano, a Steinway baby grand, adds a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space, while the Davos off-white wool moquette carpet throughout the yacht amplifies the sense of luxury and expanse.

Accommodation

Alouette II offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owner's cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins.

The yacht features two magnificent VIP double cabins located on the lower deck, each appointed with indulgent whirlpool baths—an exceptional touch of opulence that is sure to delight. For those traveling with company, the two twin cabins offer additional pullman berths, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements without compromising on space or comfort.

Elevating the guest experience even further, the double cabin on the upper deck is a sought-after sanctuary where large side windows frame breathtaking views of the surrounding seascape, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the tranquil beauty of their voyage.

The owner's cabin, a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship, offers a private haven complete with an open-air terrace to enjoy the fresh sea air in seclusion. A standout innovation within this suite is a large mirror that seamlessly transforms into a plasma television screen, blending cutting-edge technology with the cabin's elegant aesthetic.

The owner's en-suite facilities are equally impressive, featuring a stunning double bathroom with both a whirlpool bath and a shower, adorned with San Laurent and Calacatta marble for an aura of refined luxury. The suite also includes a walk-in wardrobe conveniently situated outside the bathroom, providing ample space for personal attire and belongings.

Alouette II ensures that guest comfort extends to the crew of up to 10, who are accommodated in well-appointed en-suite cabins.
