The 51m motor yacht Atlas was delivered to her owners in 2011 by Italian shipyard Codecasa. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Codecasa, while Della Role Design is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.5m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 619 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Accommodation
Atlas offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 11 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 2,447hp engines, motor yacht Atlas is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 90,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,400 nautical miles at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Atlas also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
