The 65m motor yacht Main was delivered to her owners in 2008 by Italian shipyard Codecasa. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Codecasa, while Giorgio Armani S.p.A. is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.2m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,147 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2006. She was delivered to her owners in June 2008.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the yacht Main features a raked bow, which contributes to its sleek and dynamic appearance. The hull and superstructure are both finished in a dark green color, creating a unified and understated look. The deck is made from teak, known for its durability and classic maritime aesthetic. The boot top and antifoul areas are painted black, accentuating the yacht's streamlined form.
The angular lines and tapering bow give Main a commanding presence, akin to a sleek, efficient naval vessel rather than a typical pleasure cruiser. The exterior is further distinguished by enormous louvre-slatted windows made of birch wood, which filter light and provide privacy.
Amenities within Main include a hot tub, a gym, and a cinema screen. The yacht features a large sundeck with a dining area. The careful arrangement of spaces and the choice of materials contribute to a cohesive and functional interior.
At the stern, a grand teak staircase descends down to the water, integrating the yacht with its marine environment. This staircase also conceals a tender garage, maintaining the purity of the yacht’s lines. Extra seating at the aft provides an excellent vantage point for guests, enhancing the functional design.
Interior Design
The interior design Main incorporates a blend of gray and beige tones, accented with light birch wood floors and dark green lacquered walls that match the yacht's hull. The aesthetic aims for comfort and visual freedom, avoiding the feeling of confinement often associated with enclosed spaces.
The living area extends over almost the entire main deck, featuring two distinct zones with varying levels of formality. One area is furnished with custom-made sofas and a coffee table, while the other is outfitted with oversized cushions around a low-level table. A central birch table with soft cushions replaces traditional chairs.
Main's interiors are designed to filter natural light through enormous louvre-slatted windows made of birch wood. These windows function like Venetian blinds, providing privacy and reducing the intensity of sunlight entering the interior. This design choice ensures that Main's interior maintains a toned-down appearance, mitigating the harsh reflections from the sea.
The furniture and fittings on Main are primarily custom-made or adapted from pieces in the Armani/Casa collection. This includes chairs covered with green leather and a green lacquered base sofa. The living spaces are designed to feel casual and unpretentious, aligning with Armani's vision of comfort at sea.
Accommodation
Main offers comfortable and spacious accommodations for up to 12 guests. The master cabin is elegantly paneled in precious materials and includes an antique Japanese cabinet, reflecting a blend of luxury and cultural reverence.
She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 2,479hp engines, motor yacht Main is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 160,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,910 nautical miles at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Main also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
