Delivered in 2023, Kathryn is a 57.8m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Codecasa. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Codecasa's in-house design team.
Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.5m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 920 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2020 as a speculative build by Codecasa. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in July 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2023.
Accommodation
Kathryn offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin and 1 VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516E) 16-cylinder 3,386hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Kathryn is capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 15,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, Kathryn features a beach club where those on board can enjoy unwinding close to the water. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads.
