Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.46m beam and a 2.3m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 277 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built in the series.
Exterior Design
Aft, Blacksheep features an extended swim platform, ingeniously integrated into the transom. This design choice expands the available space, creating a sizable beach club area that invites relaxation and direct access to the sea.
The aft deck, accessible from either side, houses a dining area suited for outdoor meals, complemented by built-in bar stools, a sink, and refrigeration units. This arrangement facilitates social gatherings and dining under the open sky. Above, the flybridge offers additional space for leisure, featuring a mix of sun pads, a hot tub, and dining areas, all thoughtfully arranged to optimize the enjoyment of the sea and sun.
The forward deck of Blacksheep is more utilitarian, equipped with anchoring gear and robust cleats, yet it retains the potential for casual use, such as sunbathing or enjoying unobstructed views of the surroundings.
Interior Design
The main salon of Blacksheep is characterized by its spacious layout, offering ample seating around a central glass coffee table. A large TV mounted on the wall provides entertainment, while the surrounding seating is designed for relaxation and socializing. The use of hardwood floors adds warmth to the space, complemented by soft, indirect lighting that enhances the ambiance without overwhelming.
Adjacent to the main salon, the formal dining area serves as a focal point for communal meals. The dining table is positioned centrally, surrounded by comfortable chairs that accommodate guests for formal dinners. The area is illuminated by overhead lighting that ensures the space is well-lit, enhancing the dining experience.
The galley is equipped with modern appliances and ample storage, designed to facilitate meal preparation efficiently. It features a full-size fridge and freezer, double ovens, and a cooktop. Additional amenities include a dishwasher, a trash compactor, and a comprehensive cold storage wall. The layout extends to include a secondary sink and additional workspace, ensuring practicality in meal preparation. The crew mess and crew cabins are accessible via a staircase from the galley, indicating a clear separation of guest and service areas.
The raised pilothouse of Blacksheep features a comprehensive control panel, flanked by two helm chairs, offering clear visibility and access to the yacht's navigation and operational systems. The area is complemented by L-shaped bench seating and a table, providing a space for additional crew or guests to be part of the navigation experience.
Accommodation
Black Sheep is equipped to host up to eight guests within its four staterooms, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience on the water.
At the heart of Blacksheep's guest accommodations is the full-beam owner's suite, situated on the main deck. This suite is a highlight of the yacht's design, offering expansive windows on both sides to flood the space with natural light and provide stunning views of the surroundings. The owner's suite is fitted with built-in closets, cedar-lined for the preservation of garments, and features a large, private ensuite bathroom. The bathroom boasts a vanity and a spacious shower, with a design that complements the elegant aesthetics of the suite.
Descending to the lower deck, guests will find additional staterooms, each designed with the same attention to detail and comfort. Among these is a full beam VIP cabin, offering generous accommodations with a central bed, a settee, a desk, and ample built-in storage, including a sizable cedar-lined walk-in closet. The VIP ensuite mirrors the luxurious standards set throughout the yacht, featuring a large shower and refined finishes.
Two further guest cabins are available, each outfitted with two single beds, built-in storage, and individual ensuites. These cabins continue the theme of sophisticated design and comfort, with TV entertainment systems and ambient lighting to enhance the onboard experience.
The crew quarters include a mess area and sleeping arrangements, designed to meet the needs of up to six crew members. This ensures that every aspect of the guests' experience is catered to with professionalism and attentiveness.
