Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 30'2" beam and a 5'9" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Codecasa 50S design. Launched in June 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2013.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Bon Vivant features a white hull and superstructure, complemented by a black boot stripe and a raked bow. This aesthetic maintains the sporty essence of its predecessors while incorporating additional elements that enhance both form and function.
The design challenge was to add an extra deck without disrupting the established visual harmony. The result is a profile that balances increased interior space with the sleek lines expected in a yacht of this class. The exterior spaces are generous, with a focus on usability and comfort. Notable features include a Jacuzzi at the bow, strategically placed to offer relaxation while cruising. The stern area on the lower deck houses a garage with a tender and a port lateral opening for easy launch and docking.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht Bon Vivant focuses on creating large, light spaces. In the main salon, simplicity and functionality take precedence. The space is designed to facilitate easy movement and provide a comfortable environment for guests. The materials chosen for the interior include high-quality woods and fabrics, selected for their durability and aesthetic appeal. Neutral tones dominate the color palette, creating a calm and understated atmosphere.
Accommodation
The yacht Bon Vivant features a full-beam owner's suite located on the main deck. This suite includes a central bed, a vanity area, and a relaxation space with an armchair and footrest. It is complemented by two dressing rooms and two bathrooms. The suite also offers direct access to a gym and the owner's study, as well as a private balcony.
Further guest accommodation includes a VIP cabin, a double cabin and three twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V) 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Bon Vivant is capable of reaching a top speed of 29 knots, and comfortably cruises at 23 knots. With her 11,888 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 750 nautical miles at 18 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
